Alonzo Mourning isn't ready to retire. Mourning tore two tendons in his right knee December 19th and is out for the season. Most assumed he would retire. Many people will say he should not come back and normally I would be one of those people,. Mourning will turn 38 in just a few weeks and he's accomplished so much. He's a 7-time All Star, 2-time NBA Defensive Player Of The Year, won a gold medal at 2000 Olympics, and won an NBA Championship in 2006. What more does Zo have to play for? But, he just loves to play. This guy recovered from a kidney transplant and played extremely well backing up Shaq. If anyone can come back from this injury it's Alonzo Mourning. Here's wishing him the best.
