Sorry for the lack of posts yesterday, but, I was stuck on a bus coming up to New York City for the weekend. And, sadly, this bus had no Wi-Fi (don't laugh, some of them do now).
Quick aside: the girl I sat next to brought nothing to do on the bus ride - no iPod, no book, no sodoku puzzles, not even a magazine. It was a four and a half hour trip from DC, and all she did was sit there, and stare out the window. I was borderline amazed that a human in this age of mass technology and short attention spans could do NOTHING for that long. I felt like I was sitting next to Puddy.
Anyways, it doesn't look like I missed too much yesterday: after Thursday, sports probably needed a day off. Tonight is the Slam Dunk Contest, and ya know, I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm a sucker for hype, and I've officially been caught up in all the theatrics surrounding this one -- hopefully, it will be as good as all the YouTube videos that have been leaked.
Sadly, I won't be able to actually watch the dunk contest. Instead, I'll be in attendance for the Villanova-St. John's basketball game tonight. I'm not a fan of either team, but Villanova is favored by three, so, hopefully it'll be a good one. At the very least, it will be my first ever trip to Madison Square Garden, so, that's something.
