What To Watch: Wednesday

Round One

12pm ET - ESPN - Big East Tournament: Syracuse vs. Villanova - Both teams are on the bubble. This is definitely an elimination game for one of them. The winner though, might have to pull off the upset against Georgetown in the second round to advance to the Tournament.

2pm - ESPN - Big East Tournament: Providence vs. West Virginia - The Mountaineers look to beat the Friars for the third time this season. They won at Providence 77-65 and pummeled them 80-53 in West Virginia.

7pm - ESPN - Big East Tournament: Cincinnati vs. Pittsburgh - In their only match-up this season, Cincinnati upset then 16th ranked Pitt 62-59. The Panthers will look to avenge that loss against the Bearcats who have lost five in a row.

7pm - ESPN2 - NEC Championship: Mount St. Mary's vs. Sacred Heart - What are the chances the winner of this game thanks God? I'm sure neither would approve gambling on that.

9pm - ESPN - Big East Tournament: #24 Marquette vs. Seton Hall - A lot of people are thinking this could be a possible upset. Seton Hall is basically playing a home court game in the Garden and Marquette looked sluggish against Syracuse in their regular season finale.

9pm - ESPN2 - Big Sky Championship: Northern Arizona vs. Portland State - There's something satisfying when a tournament goes exactly as seeded. No upsets so far. If that trend continues, looks like #1 seed Portland State will be dancing.

Non-sports pick - 6:30pm & again at 9pm - I didn't think I'd EVER do this...I'm going to recommend something on Oxygen - Dave - It's political season and aside from Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, this might be the most uplifting movie about government.
