Top 5 Remain Unchanged In MLB Rankings

The latest edition of the RCS Rankings for baseball are out, and the top-5 teams remain the same as last week, and remain in the same order as well. The two teams tied for 6th (Cardinals and A's) are ranked below the 5th place Rays by a poll average of 1.83 spots.

Other ranking movement sees the Yankees back in the top-10 for the first time since May 6th. However, one wonders if they will be able to stay there without Wang for the next two to three months. The Yankees' division, the AL East, looks to be the strongest division, with all of its teams in the top-15 overall (2, 5, 9, 13, and 14).

The sites' rankings that we average to make the RCS Rankings appear to disagree the most on the Arizona Diamondbacks (RCS Rank = 12), who are ranked as high as 8th and as low as 20th, depending upon which source you reference.
