Just like LeBron James, Derrick Rose was selected first overall. Just like LeBron, Rose was drafted by his hometown team. And now, just like LeBron, Rose was caught speeding. But Rose gets the edge in that department: he was going 106 mph compared to James' 101.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Derrick Rose has a court date for allegedly driving his Range Rover 106 mph in a 65 mph zone on April 29th. Fortunately, no one was injured, and his lawyer points out that it's still just his first ticket. So much was made of Michael Beasley's "character issues," but you don't see him appearing in court. Although, we'll see how long that lasts with him in South Beach.
