12:30pm ET - CBS - US Open: Women's Semifinals - Serena Williams takes on Dinara Safina and Jelena Jankovic faces Elena Dementieva.
7pm - ESPN - Navy at Ball State - Both teams pummeled lesser opponents in week one. This should be a good test for both of these squads. I bet Jason Whitlock is watching.
10pm - ESPN - Diamondbacks at Dodgers - The Dodgers sit just 1.5 games back of the DBacks in the (really bad) NL West. They now open a pivotal three-game series in LA. Fun fact: if the Yankees were in the NL West, they'd be leading by 3.5 games.
Non-sports pick - 7:30pm - Bravo - Dave - With the conventions now over this seemed appropriate. Why can't we have a President like Kevin Kline?
11am - CBS - US Open: Men's Semifinals - Hoping for another epic Federer-Nadal match, but first, Nadal will have to beat Andy Murray and Federer will have to get past Novac Djokovic.
2pm - NBC - BMW Championship - Follow the leaderboard.
12pm - ESPN - Ohio at #3 Ohio State - No RB Chris Wells for the Buckeyes, but that shouldn't stop them from notching their 800th all-time victory.
12pm - ESPN2 - Miami (OH) at Michigan - The RichRod era didn't get off to such a hot start. He better hope for a bounce-back here or people in Ann Arbor won't be happy.
1pm - ESPN Classic - New Hampshire at Army - Unless you are an alumnus or know someone playing on these teams, you probably won't be watching it.
3:30pm - ESPN - #8 West Virginia at East Carolina - ECU looks to pull off their second upset in as many weeks. They beat Virginia Tech last weekend, but WVU's offense will be difficult to slow down. Pat White threw for a career-high five TD's last week.
3:30pm - NBC - San Diego State at Notre Dame - The Fighting Irish started last season 0-5. That shouldn't happen this year. as they welcome San Diego State to South Bend.
3:30pm - ABC - Cincinnati at #4 Oklahoma OR Oregon State at #19 Penn State OR Mississippi at #20 Wake Forest
4pm - Fox - Diamondbacks at Dodgers OR Phillies at Mets - Two big series that could determine their respective divisions.
7pm - ESPN2 - #17 South Florida at Central Florida - Both won easily against non-BCS teams last week. South Florida looks to beat UCF for the fourth straight time.
8pm - ESPN - Miami at #5 Florida - Florida hasn't beat Miami in 23 years, but they haven't played each other since Tim Tebow came to Gainesville.
8pm - CBS - US Open: Women's Final - Serena vs. Jelena? That's my guess based solely on name recognition and no real tennis information.
10:15pm - ESPN2 - #10 Texas at UTEP - I bet this guy will be there. Unless he passes out in a ditch somewhere.
Non-sports pick - 10pm - Comedy Central - Brian Regan: The Epitome of Hyperbole - Pretty good stuff.
1pm - TBS - Angels at White Sox - If the Red Sox sweep the Rangers and the Angels sweep the White Sox, then the Angels clinch the division...ON SEPTEMBER 7th!
1pm - CBS - NFL - Check this map for what game you'll get. And be happy: football is back.
1pm - Fox - NFL - Map link. Don't forget to plan you snacks ahead of time.
4pm - Fox - NFL - Map link.
4pm - NBC - US Open: Men's Final - Even if it's Federer-Nadal, I'll almost definitely end up skipping it to watch football.
5:30pm - ESPN2 - 2008 Basketball Hall of Fame Induction - 90% chance Dick Vitale cries?
8pm - ESPN - Phillies at Mets - Their two aces face off. Cole Hamels for the Phillies and Johan Santana for the Mets.
8:15pm - NBC - Bears at Colts - A rematch of the 2007 Super Bowl, but this time the Bears won't make the mistake of starting Rex Grossman.
Non-sports pick - 8pm - Comedy Central - Jim Gaffigan: Beyond The Pale - Definitely one of my favorite stand-up acts. You can check it out here.
