All eyes are on Brandon Jennings. The high school basketball star who opted for Europe instead of the one-and-done college route seems to be adjusting quite well. He has led Lottomatica Virtus Roma in scoring through their first five exhibition games. And the team's GM calls Jennings, "one of the top talents that I’ve ever seen."
Let the flood gates of young talent to Europe begin. Jennings has been contacted by families of 12 elite high school players wanting to learn more about their options abroad. So far, this has worked out perfectly for Jennings. Jennings has already signed a shoe deal with Under Armour and is set to make $1.2 million this season. The fascination with his situation will keep his name at the forefront of sports' fans minds and that will help with endorsements. And it looks as if he is going to be able to show off his skills for Lottomatica Virtus Roma.
It's still early, but the decision is looking better and better for Jennings.
