That's my best explanation anyway. Travis Henry, the former NFL running back, has been arrested for trafficking cocaine. A lot of cocaine:
Henry and another man, James Mack, were arrested Tuesday after "as a result of a multi-kilogram cocaine transaction" in Centennial, Jeffrey D. Sweetin, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA's Rocky Mountain Division, said in a statement.
Henry was most recently employed by the Broncos where he failed a marijuana test, but successfully appealed the NFL suspension. Henry faced a one-year suspension for another violation of the NFL substance-abuse policy that occurred in the weeks before the Broncos cut him this June.
Without that lucrative NFL contract Henry needed some way to pay the nine mothers of his nine children.
