nba%20ranks10.jpgThe RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages combine eight* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NBA on a weekly basis.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the new #1 team in the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages. This is the first week this season that neither the Lakers nor Celtics have held the top spot. Those two teams are ranked 2nd and 3rd this week, respectively. With no new entrants, the top-ten is composed of the same ten teams that it was last week.

The high riser in this weeks rankings is the Bobcats, who moved up from 25th to 20th. Falling down the rankings are the Clippers, who drop from 22nd to 26th, and the Knicks, who fell from 21st to 25th.

The west is still the best, with eight of the top 12 teams coming from the Western Conference. But, the west is still the worst too, with six of the bottom eight teams, and the worst three overall. Finally, the Thunder are back in their proper spot, as the consensus 30th ranked team.
