Detroit Is 0-For Sunday

Everyone knows about the Lions ineptitude and their pursuit of imperfection seems all but a foregone conclusion, but they’re not the only one struggling on Sundays. Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News mentioned that the Pistons are now 0-5 on Sundays following their 104-92 loss to the Knicks. The two teams are now a combined 0-17 on Sundays. This begs the question: Who will win first on Sunday? The Lions have three more chances this season. They play the Colts in Indy next week, then the Saints at home on Dec 21st, and finally at Green Bay on December 28th. They will be heavy underdogs in each of these games and none seem likely.

As for the Pistons they play at Atlanta in December 21st and then in Los Angeles against the Clippers on January 4th. I can just stop there right? Atlanta is no longer an easy win as it was a few years ago and the Hawks are 7-1 at home. But the Clippers? The Clippers are 2-9 at home and have no identity whatsoever.

What could possibly be interesting is if both teams win on December 21st. The Lions play at 1pm and the Pistons play at 2pm. The two games could potentially be ending at about the same time. So, who ya got?
