Not wanting to be outdone by the moves MLB is making, David Stern forced two NBA trades today.
First, the Wizards, Hornets and Grizzlies completed a three-team deal, with guards Javaris Crittenton and Mike James going to Washington, Antonio Daniels joining New Orleans, and Memphis acquiring a first-round draft pick.
Later in the day, the Suns and Bobcats laughed at the mediocrity of that trade and completed their own. Phoenix is saying goodbye to Boris Diaw and Raja Bell (and rookie Sean Singletary), and saying hello to Jason Richardson (and Jared Dudley and a 2010 second-round pick).
Last week, Shaq asked, on his Twitter account, "Whatthe hell is wrong wit da suns." Wonder what he thinks now.
