The RCS NFL Power Ranking Averages combine nine* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NFL on a weekly basis.
The Titans are back in the number one spot in the RCS NFL Power Ranking Averages. The Giants dropped down to second, but were still ranked first by three of the eight sites. The top ten shuffles two teams in and two teams out this week. Falling out of the top ten are the Jets (down from 9th to 14th) and the Falcons (down from 10th to 13th). Entering the top ten are the Eagles, who rose from 15th to 9th, and the Cardinals, who climbed from 14th to 10th.
The Eagles were the high riser in this weeks power rankings, rising up 6 spots after their upset victory over the Giants. Dropping the most spots in the rankings this week are the Redskins, losers of four of their last five games.
The NFC South and NFC East both can make a solid argument for being the best division in football. The NFC South has teams ranked 4th, 7th, 13th, and 16th, as compared to the NFC East, with teams ranked 2nd, 8th, 9th, and 19th. The battle for the worst division in football is just as close, with the AFC West having an average power ranking of 23.565 as compared to the NFC West, with an average power ranking of 23.16.
