Bruins top Final RCS NHL Power Ranking Averages

nhl%20ranks23.pngThe RCS NHL Power Ranking Averages combine seven* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NHL on a weekly basis.

The Bruins are at the top-team for the second consecutive week in the latest, and possibly last, RCS NHL Power Ranking Averages (the season is not done, but some of the rankings said they were done for the year).

The hot teams of the week are the Canadiens, moving up from 18th to 14th; and the Blackhawks, moving from 11th to 7th.

As the season winds down, the different ranking sites are more in-line with one another than in the past, but there are still some large discrepancies. The Ducks are ranked as high as 6th by CBS and as low as 16th by Fox; currently they stand in 7th out West, but are 8-2-0 in their last ten games. The Canadiens (7th in the East, 5-4-1 in last 10) are ranked as high as 11th by Fox and as low as 19th by SI.

*AOL rankings were not released for the week at the time of publication.
