Dodgers Unanimous #1 in RCS MLB Power Rankings Averages

5-28.png.pngThe RCS MLB Power Ranking Averages combine seven other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the MLB on a weekly basis.

The Dodgers seem to be doing just fine without Manny, as they are the unanimous #1 team in the RCS MLB Power Rankings. Only one new team enters the top ten in the Power Rankings this week, the Cardinals, who shot up from 11th to 3rd. Falling out of the top ten were the Cubs, who dropped from 8th all the way down to 16th (going just 2-8 in your last 10 games will do that).

The Cardinals are the hottest team in the rankings this week, moving up eight spots. Right behind them are the Padres, who rose from 25th to 18th, due to their 10-game winning streak (and 11 wins in their past 12 games).

Three teams fell eight spots in the rankings this week: the Cubs (8th to 16th), the Astros (17th to 25th), and the Blue Jays, who were #1 two weeks ago, fell from 2nd to 10th.

More strange rankings from WhatIfSports this week, with the Red Sox ranked 15th (RCS #2), the Phillies 17th (RCS #7), and Blue Jays 2nd (RCS #10), among several other odd and large differences. They even have the Nationals ranked 20th (every other ranking has them 30th).

The AL East continues to be the highest regarded division in baseball, with teams ranked 2nd, 5th, 10th, 13th, and the Orioles down at 25th (but don't worry, here comes Matt Wieters).
