Remember That A-Rod Book?
Remember Selena Roberts' book, A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez? It made big headlines a month ago. Just about every prominent columnist weighed in on the situation and A-Rod was the hottest topic in sports. So that book about him is still probably flying off the shelves, right? Wrong. Sorry Selena.
The book fell of the New York Times list of hardcover nonfiction best sellers in a mere three weeks, and now it is ranked No. 2,904 on Amazon.com (according to USA Today, but it seems to be ranked #1,621 (in books) on Amazon itself).
As for those who have read it, well lets just say they aren't suggesting it to many friends. Some comments from Amazon users about Roberts' book:
Now, to be fair, there are a few good reviews as well, but I think it's pretty clear the general public is not waiting on pins and needles for the next Selena Roberts tell-all book. But hey, now’s the time to buy, its 34% off the cover price at Amazon!
