The RCS MLB Power Ranking Averages combine seven* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the MLB on a weekly basis.
After 10 weeks of Dodgers domination, there is a new #1 team in the RCS MLB Power Ranking Averages this week, the New York Yankees. The Dodgers did not fall far, as they are just behind the Yankees at #2 and still received first place rankings from three of the websites used for the RCS averages. New to the top 10 this week are the Cubs, who moved up from 17th to 14th to 10th over the past three weeks while climbing back into the NL Central race.
The bottom of the rankings have seen a bit of change as well. No, the Nationals have not climbed out of the basement, but they are no longer the unanimous choice as the lowest ranked team, as CBS ranked the Nats above the Padres this week. *Yahoo! had yet to publish their rankings for the week by the time of this post
