Giants Not So Thankful on Thanksgiving

new-york-giants-logo.jpgThe Giants have lost four in a row, and have fallen from number one in the RCS NFL Power Ranking Averages all the way down to 16th this week. It's understandable if they are a bit cranky, but now they're even upset with their schedule. From the New York Daily News:

Giants co-owner John Mara told the Daily News it's a competitive disadvantage for his team to play two time zones away in a short week  ... he filed a complaint with the NFL claiming the scheduling is unfair.

The Giants play the Falcons at home this Sunday and then have to travel to Denver and play the Broncos four days later. It's a tough stretch, but it's not like they're the only ones to have had to do this and more importantly, why complain now? This schedule has been out for months. It's like he's reaching for an excuse in case the Giants continue to fall apart.
