Hawks Maintain Top Spot in RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages

nba nov 23.jpgThe RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages combine seven* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NBA on a weekly basis.

For the second week in a row the surprising Atlanta Hawks are at the top of the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages. Behind them are the Lakers, who after falling to 6th last week, are back up to 2nd. Jumping into the top ten for the first time this season are the Milwaukee Bucks, led by rookie sensation Brandon Jennings.

Climbing the most spots this week are the Hornets, who moved up from 26th to 18th, and the Jazz, who shot up from 20th to 12th.

While most sites agree as to where the majority of teams should be ranked, there are a few teams with a wide range of rankings. The 76ers and Bobcats are both ranked as high as 19th and low as 27th.

After moving out of the cellar for one week, despite being winless, the Nets, still winless, are back in 30th.
