Lakers Unanimous No. 1 in RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages

nba dec8.jpgThe RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages combine seven* other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NBA on a weekly basis.

The Lakers are the unanimous number one team in the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages, making this their second week in a row holding the top spot. At the bottom of the rankings, despite getting their first win, the Nets are still the unanimous choice as the 30th place team.

Dropping the most spots in the rankings this week are the Bulls, who fell from 17th to 23rd. No team rose up more than four spots this week.

The Western Conference is beginning to assert its dominance, particularly in the middle of the rankings, as only five of the top 17 teams are from the Eastern Conference (however, they do have four of the top six teams). Conversely, seven of the bottom nine teams are from the East.

*FanHouse rankings had not been released at the time of this post
