The Cavaliers are the top team in the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages for the third straight week, this week as a unanimous selection. The Lakers remain in second, but are much closer to the third ranked Celtics than the top ranked Cavs. Meanwhile the Magic fall out of the top four first the first time since the November 17th edition of the rankings.
At the bottom the woeful Nets remain the unanimously 30th ranked team, but the slumping Pistons took over the 29th spot from the Timberwolves.
The Western Conference dominates the rankings this week as 11 of the top 15 ranked teams reside in the West.
