nba jan 19.pngThe RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages combine seven other sites' power rankings to make the most balanced and unbiased grade possible, and to offer the most accurate look at the state of the NBA on a weekly basis.

The Cavs and Lakers are number one and two in the RCS NBA Power Ranking Averages respectively, and will meet on Thursday, with the winner likely to become the unanimous top ranked team next week.

Elsewhere in the rankings the Nuggets rose up the most spots of any team, as they moved up from 10th to 4th. Two other teams moved up considerable spots, the Pistons, who climbed from 29th to 24th, and the Bobcats, who ascended from 19th to 14th.

The teams who fell the most sports were the Magic, who dropped from 5th to 9th, the Rockets, who slid from 12th to 16th, and the Warriors who fell from 24th to 28th.

At the bottom the Nets are untouchable as the consensus 30th ranked team
