Orlando Magic vs. Charlotte Bobcats

Kyle Adams
Magic 4, Bobcats 1

The Magic are 23-5 since the All-Star break and are on a mission after losing in the Finals last year. Meanwhile, the Bobcats, while talented and exceptionally coached, have never been in the playoffs before. Dwight, Stan the man, and the Magic will move on easily.

Magic 4, Bobcats 2

Since March 1 the Magic have compiled a 19-3 record and once again look like a serious contender in this year's playoffs. While Charlotte has a very good squad, they just don't match-up well with Orlando's size and shooting ability. With Larry Brown as their coach, Charlotte should be able to take two games, but the Magic will win this series when all is said and done.

Jeff Briggs
Magic 4, Bobcats 1

The Bobcats don't really have a chance here. The Magic will go cold in one game and the Bobcats will be happy to get their first playoff win ever, but that's as far as it'll go.

The Bobcats are a great defending team and will surely frustrate the Magic at times. But Dwight Howard eyes must be lighting up in this matchup. Here are the three people who will attempt to guard him; 1. an injured and skinny Tyson Chandler, 2. an aging Nazr Mohammed; 3. an even older Theo Ratliff. Have fun trying to guard the most athletic player in the NBA.

Orlando has played like the best team in the Eastern Conference in the final two months of the season. The Magic want another trip to the Finals and don't have time to take a pit stop in the first round.
