Redlegs Rundown

It's Time to Trade

If there was a time to trade Adam Dunn, the time is now. He's on a hot streak: hitting in 7 straight games, 3 homers in the last 2 games, and a batting average now up to .275

There were many scouts at the game on Sunday, according to Tracy Jones (700 WLW), so don't be surprised if the big slugger is traded during this next road trip.

According to RotoWorld.com, the Angels, Twins, Yankees, and Braves are teams with interest at the moment. However, when the Angels were in town, they wanted to trade for Dunn but felt they were getting the lower end of the deal by the Reds demands: an established pitcher, infielder, and a top prospect.

I say package him and David Ross and send them to Atlanta for Saltamachia and an established pitcher. It would make the most sense, and besides...we NEED a decent hitting catcher. Hitting under .200 is just not cutting it.

I've been at 3 games within the last week, folks, and I've got to say....this is a BAD team. When you let the Rangers (worst team in baseball) beat you 2 out of 3 games...something is wrong, and I am not looking at the hitters on this team when I say that. Of course, I said the same thing when they lost 3 out of 4 to the Nationals, too.

It's time to trade folks...hopefully we get something decent.
