So, what would you give up to get Joe Blanton?   I can see two schools of thought here.

One side is," He can help us win now.  With Joe Blanton, the Reds could win the NL Central in 2008.  Give the A's what the want.  Bailey, Cueto and Votto is not too much to get to the playoffs now."

The other is, "There is no need to give away the future for a pitcher who had a 5.11 road ERA last season.  Blanton will get lit up in GABP.  Bailey and/or Cueto could be better than Blanton this year, let alone in the future.  I might give up Chris Valaika for him, but nothing more."

I figure most folks are in between those two extremes.  But what would you give up to get Blanton?
