Instant Round of 16 Review: Uruguay Edges South Korea to Move On

SCORE: Uruguay 2, South Korea 1

TURNING POINT: It's kind of obvious: The second of Luis Suarez's goals in the rain in the 80th minute to give Uruguay the game.

PLAYER OF THE GAME: See above -- two great strikes for the man from Ajax.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: How defensive each team got when it got a goal. Uruguay went into a defensive shell after scoring early, allowing South Korea to create chance after chance. Then, when South Korea finally scored, it took its foot off the pedal -- and Uruguay snatched the opportunity. Another surprise was how many free kicks Uruguay conceded in the danger zone. Going in, everyone knew that if South Korea was going to score, that was likely the way.

BIGGEST NO-SHOW: The South Korean defense was weak the few times Uruguay attacked -- but we knew that going in.

IF THE GAME WERE A ROLLING STONES SONG IT WOULD BE: Rain Fall Down or Play With Fire
