Yesterday, we highlighted the NFL schedule for Kickoff Weekend and Thanksgiving Day. The two games set for the opening Monday night will feature four of the eight original AFL teams, as a part of the celebration of the league's 50th anniversary: Buffalo at New England and San Diego at Oakland. The NFL will eventually honor all eight teams with "Legacy Games" ("...former AFL teams will meet head-to-head while wearing their chosen historic uniforms"). What's this all mean for you, the fan? Some pretty sweet throwbacks.

From left to right: Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs (formerly the Dallas Texans), Raiders, Titans (formerly the Oilers), Bills, Jets and Patriots. You can see a larger version here.
And if you're wondering, yes, that is Josh McDaniels holding a (rather ugly) Jay Cutler jersey. Subtle, Josh. Subtle.
Thanks to Uni Watch, the best sports uniform blog out there.
