NASCAR today said that Tony Stewart had to have a meeting today with NASCAR before the car could even come off the trailer and to even be worked on. The early morning meeting lasted around one hour. He picks up a 10 grand fine and is also sent on probation for the rest of the year for failing to meet post race media obligations.

In Busch series news NASCAR has changed the restrictor plate from 15/16 to 29/32 in order cut the speeds down a few miles. Mike Wallace hit 197.342 in the first practice which caused them to act quickly.
