Jeff Gordon gets yet another poll this season with a speed of 126.251MPH. Just missing the race again qualifying in 36th place is Michael Waltrip. After 424 consecutive starts Dale Jarrett misses his first race qualifying in 44th spot.
Dale Jr. Says that he will be driving Chevrolets' next season.
The payout for the Coca-Cola 600 this year is going to be $6,569,628 bucks which is $136,947 more than last year and over 4 million bucks more than the race 10 years ago.
Allen Bestwick is now going to be the host for the ESPN “NASCAR Countdown” show which occurs before ever single Busch Series race. He is replacing Erik Kuselias.
From the Michael Waltrip Racing website they say they have offered Matt Borland the job of Technical Director. He has turned down that job offer.
