Bill France Jr. death news and more....

During the NASCAR race on Monday it was learned that Bill France Jr. has died. Without him NASCAR would have never gotten off the ground and this is a terrible loss.

Lesa France Kennedy issues a statement:

"My father will be sorely missed, not only by our family, but by all the lives he touched over his many years in the sport," she said in a statement. "From drivers to owners to other track operators and professionals in the racing world, Bill France served as a champion for motorsports, and his legacy is the renowned success that NASCAR and ISC have and will continue to achieve.

Track owners, GM Exec, Edsel Ford II, and Drivers.

Aflac is close to signing a deal to be a sponsor for the Roush/Fenway camp.

Tommy Baldwin Jr. has been named the crew chief for the #22 Toyota Dave Blaney drives.
