Dave Blaney Wins Bud Pole at New Hampshire

After a weekend full of turning right, NASCAR is back on an oval and Dave Blaney is back behind the wheel of the number 22 CAT car. With a 29.426 second lap, Blaney won the Bud Pole Award, the second of his career and his first since 2003. Sunday will mark the first time a Toyota starts from the pole.

For Blaney, it was his first pole since February of 2003 when he started from P1 at Rockingham. It's been a rough year for Blaney so far. His highest finish is 11th.

Coming off of a couple of disappointing weeks, Kurt Busch qualified second with a 29.484. Busch looks to turn his luck around this weekend. He is a two time winner at Loudon.

Three Dodges will line up behind Busch. Reed Sorenson qualified third, Johnny Sauter fourth and last week's winner, Juan Pablo Montoya, will roll of fifth.

Jeff Gordon, who still leads the points despite being docked 100 points, will start eighth. His teammate and defending race winner, Kyle Busch qualified 18th.
