Garage Talk: Biffle Breaks Negotiations with Roush

Greg Biffle has broken off talks with Roush-Fenway Racing in order to focus on the performance of the number 16 Ameriquest Ford rather than focus on his future next seeason. Biffle says those talks should resume in another month. After 13 races, Biffle has an average finish of 20.7.

Jeff Burton says that the probability of RCR adding another car to their stable in 2008 is likely. There are also rumors of Penske Racing adding a third car operation next year with Mobil 1 as the sponsor. No word yet on drivers for either team.

Sunday will mark the first time this Goodyear tire combination hits the track. The estimated pit window is 29-31 laps.

Every car will sport a special decal in remembrance of Bill France Jr. this week. The decal is black in color and reads "WCF: Pioneer, Innovator, Friend".

Todd Bodine is on the pole for tonight's Sam's Town 400 at Texas. The Onion is a three time winner at Texas. Points leader, Mike Skinner starts second. Travis Kvapil, Johnny Benson and rookie, Aaron Fike round out the top 5.
