Loads Of Evernham News, RYR merger news and more.....

I found this great article from the Indy Star newspaper on the once unstoppable NASCAR slowing down.  I have to agree that NASCAR is slowing down at least in the ratings and it is not going to be easy bat all to get those ratings back.

Ray Evernham is going to the 2006 Dodge for the rest of the season for the Car Of Tomorrow races.

Also Ray now states that his relationship with Erin Crocker is hurting her chances in racing and that she needs to move onto another team.

And finally he expects the deal with Gillett to be finalized in 14 days.

Robert Yates Racing has Joined forces with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing to be fully named now Yates/Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing.

Captin Thunder reports that Kyle Busch is real close to signing on with Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2008 season.  It is not clear if it is in a fourth car or in J.J. Yeley's car.

The two race dates for Dover in 2008 are going to be June 1st and September 21st.

The Fox network and NASCAR for the 2008 season would like to see the open date after the second race plugged up, but does not know if it is going to happen yet.
