and get his first Busch series poll ever. Wimmer stated he was "pretty excited" after qualifying. He also stated that he did not think that he would run that fast. His track record speed was 135.355 MPH.
Also on the front row is Reed Sorenson who was third to break the track record today with a speed of 135.151 MPH. "A lot better in qualifying than I thought it would be," said Reed.
Getting to break the track record first was Carl Edwards and his speed of 135.127 MPH.
Stephen Leicht said his car was really good in practice. He starts 12th.
"Really sliping and sliding around," said Dave Blaney. He starts 17th.
"My grandmother could have driven better than that," said Marcos Ambrose who starts in 14th spot.
Qualifying though got off to a bad start as the car of Richard Johns who went out first spun out and hit the wall.
