After hearing the appeal by the Carl Edwards camp yesterday afternoon, NASCAR has come out today and upheld the ruling they have handed out. The 25 point penalty stands.

The city of Concord has lowered the hard line stance they have on building the drag strip on the Lowes Motor Speedway.

Patrick Carpentier has signed on with Gillett Evernham Motorsports to drive the #10 car next year.

Restrictions our out for people going to the race this weekend.

The #21 this weekend will be driven by Bill Elliott and will have the Heinz Ore-ida company as a sponsor.
