Bruton Smith who owns the Lowe's Motor Speedway now says that is he does not get his drag strip he is going to move the LMS track somewhere else. The Concord City Council voted no on Monday for the drag strip. I say this is one dumb move and I am not sure if the drag strip is far enough away from residential buildings.

Nationwide is in the final stages to be the sponsor for what is now the Busch Series.

Andy Hillenburg put in the winning big for the Rockingham racetrack.

Mike Wallace is slated to be the driver this weekend at Talladega. Also attempting to qualify this weekend in the 09 car is Sterling Marlin, Joe Nemechek, and Jacques Villeneuve.

Tony Eury Sr. is now the crew chief for the #88 car driven by Brad Keselowski.

NASCAR Now notes:

In a Clint Bowyer interview he said he could not believe how much lighter is was when watching the race back on TV and that NASCAR made the right call.

At the very end of the show they confirmed that on Wednesday NASCAR is going to confirm that Nationwide is going to be the official sponsor for the Busch series.
