Winston Salem-Journal says that Jacques Villeneuve has completed a buy-in of the Bill Davis Racing team says a source.

USA Today writes on Scott Speed and weather they would bring out a third cup car for him next year. The article says they want to look at how well he does first in the lower levels before moving up to cup and that the third car would be financed differently.

The Telegraph says that A.J. Allmendinger is surprised on reports that other cup teams are interested in him. He states that he is staying with his team for next season.

This weekend Jimmy Johnson is go to donate all his winnings from the Atlanta race this Sunday to help out the people in California wildfire mess.

In some other news Jeff Gordon has made the top 25 list this year of highest paid athletes.  He makes the list in 21st spot with a salary of 24.5 million.
