Cabarrus County officials are preparing to give a package to Bruton Smith that is under 70 million bucks to keep him from moving the Lowe's Motor Speedway to another area. First it goes from Bruton wanting to build a drag strip, then to him wanting to move to track someplace else, to now the city sucking up to him so he has to pay no money to build the drag strip?!?!?!?!
In other Bruton Smith news it looks like he is going to have to follow old rules set in place for the New Hampshire track. That means no drag racing at the racetrack.

The Old School Racing Champions Tour has formed a 10 race season that is going to start in 2008. David Pearson, Dick Trickle, Harry Gant, Geoffrey Bodine, Dave Marcis and James Hylton have signed up for the tour.
