More Rain News, Bobby Labonte, and more....

Rain in California has canceled both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide qualifying. On the Sprint Cup side Jimmy Johnson starts first. On the Nationwide Series side Jeff Burton picks up the poll. The Nationwide Series was going to do qualifying today, but NASCAR decided to have practice instead at that time.

Yahoo sports says that Bobby Labonte is being looked at to field a fourth car for Richard Childress Racing in 2009.

Dodge officials are now admitting they made a mistake in sending the bad nose to Robby Gordon.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway and the newly renamed Auto Club Speedway are in talk of having the race dates they have changed.

JR Motorsports is appealing only the suspension ruling for the crew chief they picked up from the Daytona race. Chad Walter picked up a six week suspension.
