H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler has announced today that he is retiring from Speedway Motorsports and the Lowe's Motor Speedway.

It is now official Aflac is going to be the primary sponsor for Carl Edwards starting in 2009. Street & Smith though say the deal is for three years at a cost of 26 million a year.

Juan Pablo Montoya says he did not want Jimmy Elledge gone, but was overulled.

Doug Richert is out as the crew chief for Regan Smith and the 01 car. In his place is going to be Kevin Buskirk. Kevin is apart f the testing program they have.
