Lawsuit, Catapiller, Tony Stewart, and more news...

Sports Illustrated has an interview up with Mauricia Grant who filed the 225 million dollar lawsuit against NASCAR.  In the interview she says that "People started to get a little loose with their language."

Catapiller who sponsors Dave Blaney is going to move over to the #31 car and Jeff Burton in 2009.

This Bill Davis Racing PR also talks about the Catapiller sponsorship and the formation of the new #23 Sprint Cup Toyota team for 2009.

Greg Zipadelli says that Tony Stewart and his decision to explore driving for an other team is causing a distraction for the team.

Ryan Newman says that team performance must improve or he is leaving Penske.

Drew Blickensderfer is moving over from the #17 Nationwide car as a crew chief over to the #60 car that Carl Edwards drives.  Pierre Kuettel is moves over to the #17 car.

For this weekend in Milwaukee  Stephen Leicht is the backup driver for Clint Bowyer, Auggie Vidovich is in for David Ragan, Mike Skinner is in for David Reutimann, and Jason Hedlesky is in for Carl Edwards.

Patrick Carpentier has picked up the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith game as a primary sponosor for the Sprint Cup race this Sunday.
