In qualifying for the Sunday Sprint Cup race from Pocono Kasey Kahne picks up the poll with a speed of 170.219 MPH.  Sitting along side of him is going to be Jimmy Johnson.  Starting in tenth is Kyle Busch who is attempting to race in all three NASCAR Series from three different race tracks.

NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston has stated this week that NASCAR’s contract with title sponsor Sprint will not allow Verizon to re-brand the Penske Racing’s Alltel Dodge which is driven by Ryan Newman.
