NASCAR.com has up an article on the Mauricia Grant Lawsuit. Bill France came out on Saturday to give a broader defense of his company. Bill says that he has not completed the investigation, but did find some violations of our policy.
NASCAR officials say that Kentucky is not going to have a Sprint Cup date for 2009. Bruton Smith says if the lawsuit Jerry Carrol has was dropped it would greatly help them getting a 2009 date. Jerry disagrees with that big time and is not going to drop the lawsuit.
Joe Gibbs says that he has no update yet on talks with Tony Stewart and his contract negoation.
Regan Smith is out of his drivers spot next week in 01 Sprint Cup car he drives for DEI. In his place is going to be road course racer Ron Fellows attempting to qualify for the Savemart 350.
When Kyle Busch was asked last night if he would be in the Nationwide Series race next week at Milwaukee Kyle said no.
On the pre-race show Kyle stated that he was too far out in the points to really make a run for the Nationwide Series title.
Kevin Lepage still hope that he will still be able to drive in the Nationwide Series for Front Row Motorsports.
