Sonoma Observations....

This race was a bit on the boring side until the caution with nine laps go.  Then it got really crazy in the back. Tony Stewart got nine positions in 2 laps.

Tough to pass the leader all race long.  Kasey Kahne led a few lap, then Jimmy Johnson led a bunch.  Greg Biffle blew his lead and then gave it to Kyle Busch who never lost it.

Really nice to see David Gilliand get a second place finish for Yates Racing.

Too bad for the road course ringers. You would expect one or two of them to have a great day, but all of them did poorly.  Marcos Ambrose had a real solid car that could make the passes and did not drive like an idiot.  Ron Fellows was also great until his wreck.

Nice idea by Chip Gnassi by putting in Scott Pruett in place of Reed Sorenson, but he winds up 38th.  Reed could have been that bad and no need for a driver substitution.
