The Sirius Speedway show says that Teresa Earnhardt has enlisted the services of Bear Stearn to help sell the company or get a major investor in the company.
That same show said that UPS is going over to Clint Bowyer as a sponsor. That Tony Stewart in three weeks at Indianapolis is going to announce his move to HAAS CNC racing with Old Spice and Office Depot as a sponsor. Ryan Newman will be the other driver.
They also say that Casey Mears and David Stremme are the front runners for #12 car next year.
The Le Journal de Montreal reports that Jacquews Villeneuve is in talks with Robby Gordon for ride. He would race for them in the Montreal Nationwide Series race.
The Times-Union says that Chip Gnassi may fire even 30 more workers.
The Winston Salem-Journal writes that NASCAR may wind up slapping a horsepower penalty on Toyota teams in the Nationwide Series. The link also says Doug Yates says that sponsorship is coming through for them that will allow them to have a third team, but no driver has been announced for it.
