I do applaud NASCAR for throwing out as many competition yellow flags as they did. NASCAR fans want to see long fuel runs, but safety of the drivers must come first.
All we had was one major incident with a tire from Matt Kenseth and that was all we really needed.
In the short green flag runs though we had drivers like Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards who could pass a bunch of cars at the drop of a green flag.
NASCAR and Goodyear are going to have to come together to create a special tire with a different size then what they normally run in order for the COT type car to work best at this track.
Stuff like this is going to happen from time to time and the fans are just going to have to live with it. Goodyear is going mess up once every few years.
