Joe Gibbs Nationwide Series Teams.....

are going to wind up getting a penalty for trying to manipulate the throttle so the teams cars would not wind up getting a proper horsepower reading in a dyno test.

The engines have been confiscated by NASCAR.

A total of 10 nationwide series cars were tested after the Michigan race.

In other news....

NASCAR teams next year in a new proposed testing idea are going to get 24 days of testing excluding the test preseason test days at Daytona.  All drivers from a team can be present at a test.

The UPS sponsorship could wind up going to Roush Fenway in place of the AAA sponsorship.  The article says that Stewart Haas will not get the sponsorship.

Former Indy 500 winner Danny Sullivan has made an offer to buy Bill Davis Racing.

Darien Grubb who is an engineering manager for Hendrick Motorsports is a lead candidate to be the crew chief for the #14 car that Tony Stewart is going to drive next year.

Morgan-McClure Motorsports owner is not happy that he is loosing the #4 car number.  The article says they have workers ready and cars ready if they find the right sponsorship.
