Bobby Labonte, Bruton Smith, and other news...

Even Kelly Bires is going to attempt the Daytona 500. The link also says that his Nationwide Series ride with JTG Daughtery racing is on hold due to no sponsorship.

Bobby Labonte is out with some comments on why he went over to the Hall Of Fame Racing ride for 2009.

Robby Gordon says that he lack sponsorship for around 15 races in 2009.

Bruton Smith says yes to TV blackouts for NASCAR races.

Tony Stewart is going to get Burger King as a primary sponsor for Daytona in July and at Dover in September.

Farm Bureau Insurance is going to be a primary sponsor for Joe Gibbs Racing for six races.  Denny Hamlin gets the sponsor at Darlington in May and Atlanta in September.  Joey Logano gets the sponsorship At Martinsville in October.  It will also be on the 02 car that has no driver now at Lowe's in October, Texas in November, and also at Miami in November.

Ben Leslie is going to be the crew chief for what races Travis Kvapil is going to run  this year.

The former Fitz Motorsports team is now Trail Motorsport and is going to attempt some Nationwide Series races.
