Scott Speed and other news...

The former owners of the Kentucky Speedway said they had to sell the race track at less than market value due to the track not having a Sprint Cup date.

Even people at Toyota expect cutbacks in the NASCAR program that they have.

NASCAR.com says that Scott Speed is going to be the other driver in the #99 Nationwide Series car that Michael Waltrip racing is going to have.  Scott Speed is going to have Red Bull as a sponsor when he drives the car.  The link also says that Michael Waltrip Racing is going to have David Reutiman in all 36 races even without sponsorship if they need to.

The ServiceMaster Clean company has now become the first ever sponsor for the caution flag at International Speedway Corp. and Speedway Motorsports Inc. tracks.

At the end of the 2009 ARCA season Re/Max is not going to be the sponsor for the series.
