Yates Racing and more news...

Gillett Evernham Motorsports is now going to be called Richard Petty Motorsports. This link also says that the #10 car is now going to be the #44 car and with A.J. Allmendinger will be in the first five races at the very least.

Tommy Baldwin Racing has named Scott Riggs as the driver of the #36 Sprint Cup car they are going to run, but no sponsor has yet been named for the car.

Yates Racing makes it official today saying that the owners points from the Travis Kvapil car are going over to the Paul Menard and his #98 car.  The David Gilliland owners points are going over Bobby Labonte and this will put him in the Budeweiser Shootout.  The #28 car driven by Travis Kvapilis going to start the year off with nothing and no Budweiser Shootout.

Penske Racing makes It official today with the moving of the Verizon sponsorship to the #12 Nationwide Series team with Just Allgaier as the driver in a full time ride.
