Paul Chodora, pit crew member for Jeremy Mayfield at Daytona 500, has been suspended by NASCAR indefinitely due to a substance abuse violation.

Gatorz Precision Built Eyewear is going to sponsor the #11 Nationwide Series Toyota driven by Scott Lagasse Jr. for CJM Racing.

For the Camping World 300 race RAB Racing has been fined 100 points, the driver Jon Wes Townley has been fined 100 points, and crew chief Blake Bainbridge has been fined 15 grand due to a roll bar that did not meet NASCAR's specifications.  This eliminates all 100 points collected by the team.

Mike Harmon Racing team and driver Mike Harmon got 50 points worth of penalties for an invalid inspection label for a steering-wheel coupling and one for having a ballast weight outside the main frame rail.

JD Motorsports team and driver Danny O'Quinn got docked 25 points each for having front springs that did not meet minimum specifications.  Crew chief Michael Hobson is fined 5 grand and on probation until June.
